Our Fabric Sourcing Policy

As you may have seen over the year so far, we've been looking at possible new ways of sourcing brand new as well as our beloved reclaimed fabric, for lots of reasons. We've done a lot of thinking.

We've made a decision now about what to do next.

We're going to keep on doing what we do, and try to do more of it. We are looking for new, extra suppliers of reclaimed fabrics (if you know of anyone who has reclaimed stretch fabrics in minimums of 30m please tell us! Lisa did and we're going to see the place she suggested in Doncaster soon)

I have to tell you, I'm glad. I don't want to buy *new* fabrics. We - I - have genuine concerns over the irrigation and agricultural practices required to make them. For us to be true to who we are we'd have to go and visit each factory - and for a business with just two women in the office, that's a huge ask and a huge expense. We'd rather do what we are proud of - turn trash to treasure. There is so much waste in the world - we're not going to run out, we just need to get cleverer at using it. And you have told us that you love our reclaimed fabrics. So that's it. job done

THANK YOU ALL for your help in coming to that decision. If you made suggestions, you are a fully fledged member of #TeamWMYP
