Social Impact Day - part 2.

On July 8th, we ran our first ever Social Impact Day. Almost 50 of you got directly involved and was genuinely heartening to talk to you and read your responses to our survey. This was about us trying to understand what, if any impact we have had on YOU. And it was very enlightening!

72% of you were 'ethical shoppers' before you'd heard of us - but 28% weren't. And 61% of you have sought out more ethical brands since finding us. 45% of you said that since shopping with us other behaviours have changed - a few people said this was part of an ongoing shift and change anyway, but others said that our name was a key turning point

Lost of you said that you've abandoned the high street for Pants at least and shared thoughts on the difficulties of buying ethically - we understand that too. There were a few comments about size range - we'd love to do more on that and have written about why we currently can't here - when we get bigger we sincerely hope to extend our range. It was lovely to see that some of you have been inspired into social enterprise - or at least to think about it - and it was quite funny to see so many of you say you talk to EVERYONE about Pants now! We do too :)

We're a campaigning brand - we don't just want to make the world a better place for our team but we want to get the world thinking too, about what we really need, and want, and the impact that has on others. It was really lovely to see so many of you talk about how much you enjoy our Pant - the experience of wearing them, the putting them on in the morning - people said that this made them happy every day. We're on a mission to make #goodpantsdays - who doesn't love a bit of joy first thing in the morning - and it looks like we are succeeding!

On a personal note I want to say thank you. I wasn't expecting the day to move me but it really did. It had an impact on me, you could say! Some of you shared very personal stories with me (S, I have a huge hug with your name on it x) and some of you made me laugh a lot. All of you told me something I don't know and all of you said something that made me happy. I feel very strongly that we - you as women, me as a woman, the women here - we're doing this Pants thing together.

We are being the change we want to see. As someone once said, everything is awesome when you're part of a team. It's awesome being on #teamwmyp with you. Thank you.
