Whose skin are we talking about anyway?

We've written before about our reluctance to use the words 'nude' or 'skin tone' or even 'flesh' coloured.

Whose skin are we talking about?

And it's *shudders* flesh *under* the skin? And therefore kinda red?

Anyway.

We've been wanting to bring in a range of nude tones for a good long while, but as ever with the way we source our fabrics there are humps and hurdles. We only buy reclaimed materials, and so we might find a great mid brown fabric that would work for the main panels of a Cecilia - but not the lace to go with it. Or a great ivory edge lace but no body fabric. This means we sometimes take punt and buy the fabric we love and wait for it's partner to come along.

Well halloo hallay oh happy day, we now have white, ivory, mid and dark brown fabrics AND lace edging to match and so we we are working on expanding our range of basics. We're aiming to get Working Week Packs in all these tones, as well as our Aimee Black, White, Biscotti and Marron.

Wear tests have been a resounding success so watch this space - soon!
